I’ve had mine hooked up to my dump trailer for over 2 years and I’ve never had to plug in 120v to charge battery. This solar panel keeps my battery fully charged even on days I dump 6-7 loads. It’s really incredible. It’s also holding up perfectly to the harsh Minnesota weather. Still looks like brand new. Don’t waste money on cheap units. Buy this one. You’ll be glad you did.
