PulseTech is happy to reintroduce a new and more powerful version of the XC100.  The Xtreme Charge XC400 now Charges at up to 4A and Maintains and Desulfates – using patented technology - all sizes of batteries used in autos, light trucks, motorcycles, scooters, 4x4’s, ATVs and riding lawn mowers, as well as batteries for larger HD trucks and marine crafts.

The new 4A XC400 Xtreme Charge® charger (XC400 Part# 200x010), MSRP $119.00 has the same user-friendly interface and provides the same battery services as our previous XC100 but charges at almost twice the rate. This allows for a faster charge and use on a larger family of higher capacity batteries from 2.3 to 215Ah. It evaluates and tests all types of 12-volt lead-acid batteries including the new EFB start-stop batteries. This battery charger makes maintenance and bulk charging simple with proprietary algorithms and microprocessor-controlled technology that measures voltage and current acceptance over time to determine the proper operating charge rate for any type or age of lead acid battery. The application of PulseTech’s proprietary and patented high frequency pulse technology combines with its variable rate charge capabilities and improves battery condition through pulse conditioning and application of a custom charge rate at optimally safe levels. This protects the battery from being overcharged while maximizing the battery life and performance.

There’s not even a switch, just connect it, plug it in and forget it!” White says a quick disconnect cable that comes in the box allows users to permanently attach leads to the battery terminals and easily, within seconds, switch between the quick connector or clamps. The status lights show users when the power is on, testing, pulsing, and/or charging. The battery LED light column indicates the percentage towards completion of charge showing the battery’s present state of charge @ 25%, 50%, 75% or 100%.
